Owner · Master Barber
Alberto bought Old Orcutt Barber Shop in April 2009 and since then he has fixed and created what he believes is a true community barbershop. Albert has been cutting hair for 29 years. He graduated from Santa Maria Beauty College in 2006 and went on to teach there for two years. In April of 2009, he came across Old Orcutt Barbers, purchased it, and established what is now Old Orcutt Barber Shop. The shop has gone through a lot of physical changes, but the heart and soul of the traditional barbershop is still there.

David began cutting hair at the early age of 13. He has continued his passion of cutting hair at home for friends and family for the past 23 years, and we're now blessed to have him here with us at Old Orcutt Barber Shop. Aside from being a barber, David also serves his community as a full-time Law Enforcement officer. When he's not working his two jobs, you'll see him out spending quality time with his family — especially watching his kids play sports.

Abel was gifted his first set of hair clippers in high school and began cutting his own hair out of necessity. He quickly discovered that he enjoyed cutting hair and was always willing to practice on friends—as long as they were brave enough to let him experiment. Before making the transition into barbering, Abel spent 18 years working in the oil industry. He is now excited to turn a longtime interest into a new career and continue improving his skills at Old Orcutt Barber Shop. When Abel is not cutting hair, he enjoys watching and attending major league sporting events and spending time with his family. He is also a proud Raiders fan, but please don't hold that against him.

Word of Mouth
"If you're looking for a top-notch barber shop with friendly and efficient service, look no further. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, with vintage decor and a classic barbershop feel. The staff are knowledgeable, skilled, and incredibly friendly — they take the time to listen and make sure you leave feeling confident."
"Classic barbershop feel with very reasonable prices and impeccable service. They were able to fit my son and I in as walk-ins and we each received excellent haircuts and a great overall experience. They put my 3-year-old at ease and had his hair cut with no fuss."
"I have been coming here for years and have always had great cuts. Albert, the owner, is my barber and I couldn't recommend him enough. Recently I had to get a cut last minute — Albert was busy so I booked with Derek, who is new to the shop, and got a great cut from him too. You can't go wrong coming here."
